Residual current circuit breakers

Residual current circuit breakers

Residual current circuit breakers are intended for protection from dangerous contact between conductive parts that may or may not be under voltage and from fire hazard. Special residual current circuit breakers (surge-resistant) limit the number of unwanted trips and enable selective sequencing. All residual current circuit breakers are commonly interconnected with LSN and LSE circuit breakers using busbars. The OFI and LFI models respond to both alternating residual current and pulsating direct current (type A).
